Pygmy Giants: An ancient race of Giants, mostly good. Due to magical accident, wizard's curse or leakage from some ancient artifact have been reduced from their original height of 12 ft to 1 ft. They retained all of their abilities from their giant size. They have enormous strength for such a small body. D&D 2nd Ed. STR 21-24 D&D 3rd Ed. STR +7 They are good natured unless they are stepped on, then they get a free suprise attack role to hurl any larger creature up to 1 mile distant from their starting location. Players can save with a DEX or reflex save and catch a passing tree. In the valley where they live to the west is their ancient abandoned city (from when they were 12 ft. tall). To the East is the forest where they currently live. In the North is an island in a lake where whatever caused the curse/magical accident etc. still resides. (You choose, it's your campaign world.) The average Pygmy Giant is a 4th level fighter with a +2 broadsword about 4 inches in length (1d4 damage). |
