Item: Talking Sword (2nd ed. AD&D)
The Talking Sword's origins are unknown, but speculated, the most popular story being that is was the result of some wizard's sick sense of humor. The sword is very powerful, when dealing a blow, and gives the user a bit better reaction time and resistance to spells such as "charm". However, the downside being that the sword can talk (though not through a mouth), and has a personality of it's own. When withdrawn, it loudly discusses annoying and wierd topics and insults and makes fun of the slightest things, including enemies. (Submitted by Game Cube Guy)
